Thank you Jean Jie Jie for the funky T-Shirt. I look like a star!
Sunday has always been a special day for us. Mummy and Daddy used to go for breakfast with Nai Nai, Ye Ye, GuZhe, GuJeong and Evan Kor Kor at Maxwell market. Apparently Nai Nai and Ye Ye have been eating the fish porridge since Daddy was a little kid. And since then they have been following them even as they moved from location to location. After the birth of WeiEn Jie Jie and myself, they have stopped going as a family cos it was not convenient for the 2 babies to go along. Today is the first for the whole family with many more to come.
I am 4 months old today. However, instead of giving me presents, Mummy and Daddy decided that I should go for my injections. And as if 1 is not enough, I had 2 injections! They told me good things come in pairs and usually very small. As you can tell from the picture, I wasn't very convinced, nor happy. We arrived at the Marine Parade Polyclinic at 8.45am as scheduled and as usual there was no queue for babies taking injections. We went in after waiting for only 3 minutes. The nurse confirmed that I will be having the 5-in-1 and the pneumococcal jabs today and before I knew it, she was already standing there ready with the needles. I cried but only for a short while and went to sleep after the jabs. Again Mummy and Daddy were very proud of me.
When we met Uncle Benny at 9.30am, he had other friends with him and they were almost done with their breakfast. I was very quickly hijacked by Aunty Meisy so that Mummy and Daddy can go get their food. There weren't many stores opened as this place is actually a night spot and plus it is a public holiday so most shops were not opened. Daddy ended up eating Roxy laksa while Mummy had her carrot cake. She wasn't very impressed with it as she left quite a bit for Daddy to clean up. It was quite humid and while Mummy and Daddy ate, Sarah Jie Jie was very kind to fan me while I slept. Daddy always tell people that the first time he met Sarah Jie Jie, she was only 4 years old and he was her Sunday School teacher. How time flies.
Today I have another cousin to play with. Jade was born this afternoon also at Gleneagles. She weigh 3.57kg and 51cm tall at birth. Mummy and Daddy went to see her today. They say she has a lot more hair than I do. She is a girl ma, naturally will have more hair than me... We are waiting for Uncle Desmond to provide a nice picture of Jade for all to see.
