Sunday Breakfast
Sunday has always been a special day for us. Mummy and Daddy used to go for breakfast with Nai Nai, Ye Ye, GuZhe, GuJeong and Evan Kor Kor at Maxwell market. Apparently Nai Nai and Ye Ye have been eating the fish porridge since Daddy was a little kid. And since then they have been following them even as they moved from location to location. After the birth of WeiEn Jie Jie and myself, they have stopped going as a family cos it was not convenient for the 2 babies to go along. Today is the first for the whole family with many more to come.
After breakfast, we proceeded to Plaza Singapura for my swimming session. GuZhe decided to let WeiEn Jie Jie try swimming so they went along. It was fun as both of us attracted a lot of attention from people walking past. As usual, I had fun and stayed in the water for almost 40 mins until my hands started becoming pruny. WeiEn Jie Jie got up after about 15 mins as it was her first time. She seemed to like it too so GuZhe signed her up for a package for 10 sessions.
Mummy had to go see the Chinese Sin Seh at Paya Lebar for her wrist problem. There was a long queue and we had to wait about 90 mins before Mummy saw the doctor. Apparently Mummy's wrist is inflamed and had to be wrapped up. She cannot exert too much pressure so will not be able to carry me or feed me. Looks like it will be Daddy looking after me for the next 3 nights.

4 Months Old
I am 4 months old today. However, instead of giving me presents, Mummy and Daddy decided that I should go for my injections. And as if 1 is not enough, I had 2 injections! They told me good things come in pairs and usually very small. As you can tell from the picture, I wasn't very convinced, nor happy. We arrived at the Marine Parade Polyclinic at 8.45am as scheduled and as usual there was no queue for babies taking injections. We went in after waiting for only 3 minutes. The nurse confirmed that I will be having the 5-in-1 and the pneumococcal jabs today and before I knew it, she was already standing there ready with the needles. I cried but only for a short while and went to sleep after the jabs. Again Mummy and Daddy were very proud of me.
I weigh 7.4kg today.

Back to Work
How time flies. Mummy goes back to work today after being on maternity for 3 and a half months. She has 10 days left which she will take every Friday off for the next 10 weeks. Her boss has been very nice to allow this arrangement. Every Friday Mummy will bring me to Bishan to spend time with Ah Mah and Ah Gong.
This means that Nai Nai, together with GuZhe's new helper, will have to look after me and Wei En Jie Jie while Mummy is back at work. I hope she will not be too stressed out looking after the two of us.

I Like Swimming
We were suppose to go for Easter Service this morning at Riverlife Church but by the time we were about to get ready, it was already quite late. So Mummy decided we should go to New Creation Church instead cos she can then go to Carrefour to check out my diapers after church.
Daddy also decided that I should go swimming since I haven't for a while now. We went to Plaza Singapura this time and it was not crowded at all. It seemed like I was in a better mood today and really enjoyed my swimming session. There were many people who crowded outside and looked at me swim. I showed them how I turned and kicked and paddle. I had a great time and would have stayed longer in the tub if not for my prunny hand and feet. I was in there for almost 30 mins!
When I got home, I knocked out straight away from the exertion during swimming. I only woke up for my milk at 11pm.
Gu Zhe and Gu Jeong employed a helper and she join us from Indonesia today. Her name is Dwi and she is quite big size but she looks very friendly. She is suppose to help look after Wei En Jie Jie when Mummy goes back to work tomorrow and Nai Nai has to look after me and Wei En Jie Jie.
We also called Yi Sok in Dubai just now cos it is his birthday today. Happy Birthday Yi Sok!

My New Friends
Daddy arranged to meet up with Uncle Jovan and Uncle Anthony and their respective families for high tea today. Since Leroy (Uncle Jovan's son) and Gaius (Uncle Anthony's son) were born around the same time as me, they have decided to meet up to compare notes. We met at Hotel Intercontinental at 3pm for our high tea. And because Mummy had an earlier engagement at Bugis, Daddy suggested that he will try, for the first time, to drive alone with me at the back of the car. Nai Nai says it shouldn't be a problem as she always ferry Wei En Jie Jie alone. Thanks goodness all went well and we got there without any mishaps.
It was quite funny to see 3 families sitting around together with 3 babies of around the same age. We took turns to cry for our milk so there was always something happening while the adults talked. They talked and were happy to exchange notes and tips and only left at 6pm.

Good Friday
I celebrated my first Good Friday today. Traditionally it has rained on this day and today is no exception.
Mummy and Daddy woke up earlier than most weekends and public holidays because we have a breakfast date with Uncle Benny. Apparently he, Aunty Lisa and a few of their cell group members are gonna walk along the East Coast park and have arranged to meet us at Lagoon for breakfast. We learned that Uncle Benny and Aunty Lisa have been taking their morning walks three times a day at 6.30am. That is quality time spent together.
When we met Uncle Benny at 9.30am, he had other friends with him and they were almost done with their breakfast. I was very quickly hijacked by Aunty Meisy so that Mummy and Daddy can go get their food. There weren't many stores opened as this place is actually a night spot and plus it is a public holiday so most shops were not opened. Daddy ended up eating Roxy laksa while Mummy had her carrot cake. She wasn't very impressed with it as she left quite a bit for Daddy to clean up. It was quite humid and while Mummy and Daddy ate, Sarah Jie Jie was very kind to fan me while I slept. Daddy always tell people that the first time he met Sarah Jie Jie, she was only 4 years old and he was her Sunday School teacher. How time flies.

Welcome to the Family
Today I have another cousin to play with. Jade was born this afternoon also at Gleneagles. She weigh 3.57kg and 51cm tall at birth. Mummy and Daddy went to see her today. They say she has a lot more hair than I do. She is a girl ma, naturally will have more hair than me... We are waiting for Uncle Desmond to provide a nice picture of Jade for all to see.
