Breakfast at Kayne Jin's

I was invited to my friend Kayne Jin's house for breakfast today. Kayne Jin's mummy Aunty Pixim decided that the three boys who used to play a lot together when in Eton should get together again. Since I left for Pat's, I have not met them so Asher was also invited and it was really fun. While the mummies and daddies were having their breakfast, the three of us were just having lots of fun with the toys and running up and down the stairs. We were there for about 4 hours and it could have been longer if not for the fact that Kayne Jin's had to attend The Wiggles concert at MBS. I hope we get to do this again soon.

Asher's Birthday Party

We celebrated Asher's 1 year old birthday party today at Food for Thought at The Botanic Gardens. Cindy Yee Yee blocked off a part of the restaurant expecting about 40 adults and 10 children to attend. Unfortunately, some of Uncle Ivan's relatives came down with HFMD so couldn't make it. There were quite a lot of food for those who were there. I had fun at the playground with Zhe Zhe Faith and was drenched with my perspiration even before the party started. Happy Birthday Asher!

Down by The Bay

I learned a new song from school today. Apparently it is a very popular children's song but Mummy and Daddy doesn't seem to have heard of it before. Probably before their time I guess. Here is my version...
And here is the normal version. The lyrics goes like this...

Down by the bay
Where the watermelons grow
Back to my home
I dare not go
For if I do
My mother will say
"Did you ever see a bear
Combing his hair
Down by the bay"?

"Did you ever see a bee
With a sunburned knee
Down by the bay"?

"Did you ever see a moose
Kissing a goose
Down by the bay"?

"Did you ever see a whale
With a polka dot tail
Down by the bay"?

"Did you ever see a pig
Wearing a wig
Down by the bay"?

Happy Mother's Day

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am at the drawing class today drawing a picture for Mummy. I know my Mummy looks a thousand times better than what I can draw but Mummy knows that I did it all by myself and it is my first drawing of her. I am sure with more practice, I will have a more accurate portrait of her soon. Mummy, I can be stubborn and mischievous at times, making you upset and even causing you to raise your voice at me sometimes when I know you hate that, but I want you to know that I love you and hope to be a good boy. Happy Mother's Day!
