First Day in ACS

Today marks another major milestone in my life. I start my journey with ACS Junior and for the next 6 years, I will be spending a lot of time here.

I was suppose to follow the school bus but for some reason, I will be the first boy to be picked up at 6.25am although I am like 5 minutes drive away. Considering school starts at 7.30am, Daddy didn't think it was wise to put me on the school bus. Actually the only reason Daddy wanted me to be on the school bus is because when he goes away on business trips, Mummy will not have a tough time getting me to school. She said she will figure a way out now that I won't be on the school bus.

We left the house at around 7am and parked at the Newton Food Centre car park. Daddy then walked me to school and we were ushered into the music room for registration. After which, we were led to our classrooms and for the next 2 hours, we were introduced to life with Ms Shabnam, my new form teacher.

Recess was supposed to be at 9.45am but because it is our first time and it will be chaotic, we were let off at 9.30am. Isaac from P4 was assigned to bring me around and help me get used to buying food and getting around. He was very diligent and ensured that I was protected and helped. Mummy and Daddy saw him and was impressed with his level of commitment.

Mummy and Daddy came to get me when school ended at 1.30pm. It was an interesting day and I am looking forward to next week when I will go to the after school care at United Square. I will meet more new friends there, some from other schools.
